There is something touching about this statement, something that reveals the heart of God’s love.
God says, “Joshua, I’m going to make someone important out of you!”
As you read those words, think with me of those other words of Scripture: “God is no respecter of persons.” He does not value any of His redeemed above another. That means, in short, that if God said to Joshua He would make something of special worth in him, so will He with you and me!
