Tracking packages is such an effective tool — especially around the holidays! You've gotta know that gift is gonna get home in time for Christmas. Many years ago, the only option was to go in-store, and if an item you wanted was out of stock . . . you had to wait for it. There was no telling when or if it would get to you in time!

Waiting can be hard! And when you're waiting for something that only God can give you, it can almost feel unbearable. Today's passage mentions a man named Abraham from the book of Genesis. God gave Abraham this incredible promise of being the father of many nations — having so many descendants that he wouldn't be able to count them. Only thing is, he had no children of his own at the time of this promise. When God promises us something that takes a miracle, we get to decide what to do while we wait.

Today, remind yourself of what God has already done, knowing that God can do it again.
