Don't you love a "feel-good" story? It's always the story of the underdog that seems to inspire us the most. Why is that? When Cinderella overcomes her evil stepmother and stepsisters and ends up at a fancy ball, it reminds us anything is possible. Or, what about something a bit more personal? Have you heard of someone just down and out with all odds against them? Those around them may not have thought they would make it depending on the situation. But they did!
Why are stories so important? Because we have a natural hope for restoration. Jesus made a way for us to experience those night and day transformations. We learn about a God who wants to take those who don't feel seen, making us feel the worth we were created to understand. Most importantly, when we share our stories, we give others an opportunity to overcome what they're facing. Whether it's Cinderella or someone we know, sharing stories has a lasting impact.
So what's your faith story, and why does the world need to hear it?

About this Plan

It wouldn’t be Christmas without angels! You’ll find them everywhere this Christmas season. They’re on Christmas trees, ornaments, greeting cards, carols, movies, and nativity sets. They’re all over the pages of Scripture, too. That’s because angels played an important role in the very first Christmas. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we’ll discover why angels were and still are so important in the Christmas story.
