Sharing the Gospel

DAY 4 OF 5

There are several approaches you can use in sharing the Gospel with others. There’s no one way to do it. But all must start with prayer. At the heart of evangelism is prayer. Why is that? Prayer allows us to lean into the Holy Spirit for complete guidance, confidence, boldness, and heart preparation to share the message. It allows us to check our motive of why we are doing what we are doing. We shouldn’t treat sharing the Gospel message as some project to check off our list but are actual humans in need of a Savior to take away sin. So pray, check your heart and prepare for it.

One of the simplest ways to share the Gospel message is to share our testimonies of faith in Jesus. Our testimony has power. Start with what your life looks like before accepting Christ. This could be sharing some of your sins (addiction to alcohol, sex, partying, distractions, social media, etc.). Then share the moment that led you to accept Christ or who led you to Christ. Lastly, share what your life looks like after accepting Christ? Do you have joy? What has Jesus done in your life and through you? And finally, end with the introduction of the Gospel message.

This is just one of the ways to share the Gospel.

Challenge:

Take 30 minutes to write out or video yourself sharing your testimony.

  • What was your life like before accepting Christ?
  • What was the moment that led you to Christ? Or who?
  • What is your life like now after accepting Christ? What has changed?
