eKidz Devotional: All About FaithSample
Confident Faith
You’re at an amusement park with your friends, and everyone is super excited to ride the new roller coaster, but you’re a little nervous. It’s the biggest and fastest coaster in the park.
When you get in your seat, you pull the safety harness over your shoulders and hear it click into place. And suddenly, you’re more confident.
The harness helps you trust you’ll be safe during the ride.
Faith is like this! Even though life might feel like a roller coaster sometimes, faith is your invisible safety harness — it gives you the confidence to know you can trust God no matter what’s going on around you.
The writer of Hebrews explains it this way: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
It’s being confident in God’s promise even when we cannot physically see it. When we receive Jesus as our Savior, we join God’s family, and that means we can have faith in all of His promises — including the one that He will never leave us. This gives us the confidence to share who He is and what He is doing in our lives with those around us!
Ask yourself: What is faith? How can faith help you be confident in God’s promise?
Challenge yourself: Dare to be confident in God’s promise. Show those around what God is doing in your life.
Pray: God, thank You for creating us to know You and have a relationship with You! Help me have faith that’s confident in Your promises. In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan
Faith is more than knowing God exists and memorizing scripture. It’s a strong belief or trust that’s sturdy and firm, and it doesn’t wear out or break down. In this five-day devotional, we will learn faith grows as we grow, and it’s long-lasting. We’ll explore Bible stories and listen to the eKidz family podcast, “Adventures Of The StarKeepers,” to help us apply these lessons to our lives.
