Heroes of the BibleSample

Heroes of the Bible

DAY 1 OF 7

All of us have a hero. For some of us, our hero is someone we know and who has had influence on our lives while others of us have a heroes we don’t know personally but who we personally admire. Having a hero can be a good thing and he/she can challenge us to grow in new ways. The Bible also talks about heroes and over the next few days we will dive into the loves of a few heroes of our faith. This passage in Hebrews is known as the heroes passage and it lists out some very important figures in our faith. The thing that all these heroes have in common is the fact that they chose to follow God and do what he asked them to do. They each had faith in God and understood that God would keep his promises.  They truly are an example of what it means to not just say you have faith but to show you have faith by your actions. Take a look at the way you live out your faith and and honestly evaluate how you are doing with trusting God and having faith in him.

Challenge

Today we challenge you choose to trust in God and have faith that he will do what he says he will do. Take some time to figure out what areas you are struggling to trust God with and then bring your fears to God in your prayers.

Day 2

About this Plan

Heroes of the Bible

The Bible is filled with men and women who are great examples of what it looks like to follow God. They were ordinary people who did extraordinary things. In this plan, we'll take a look at some of these heroes of the Bible to see what we can learn from them.
