Help! I'm Being BulliedSample

Help! I'm Being Bullied

DAY 6 OF 7

We’ve all felt judged by other people. Maybe someone judged you for something you wore, something you said, or just something about who you are. Maybe you’ve judged other people and thought that you were better than them because of something about them. Whether you’re on the giving or receiving end of judgment, it’s not a good place to be. In the book of James, we find this question: “What right do you have to judge your neighbor?” God created each of us, and he is in charge of everything. He is the only one who has a right to judge us. We are equal with everyone around us, so why do we think we’re better than others and think we can judge other people? The only one who can judge others is God. We are simply called to love.

Challenge: Take a look at yourself when you are tempted to judge those around you today. When you want to look at others with judgment, pause and look at your own actions. What can you change about your attitude and words instead of trying to change others? What step towards kindness do you need to take? Choose kindness over judgment today.

About this Plan

Help! I'm Being Bullied

All of us have either been the victim of bullying, seen someone else get bullied, or maybe we were the bully. While the word "bully" isn't found anywhere in the Bible, God does have a lot to say about how we treat others and how to respond when we are mistreated by others.
