Help! I'm Being BulliedSample
It’s easy to be kind to those who are kind to us. When people treat us nicely and say kind things to us, it’s easy to respond to them with kindness and give them the same respect that they give to us. The hard thing is how to respond when people are unkind to us. When people treat us with disrespect, talk about us behind our backs, or bully us in any other way, it can be easy to want to respond by treating them exactly the same way. Jesus knew how easy it is to want to respond to others the same way they treat us, which is why he challenged us to do the opposite. Jesus told us, “Love your enemies!” And “Pray for those who persecute you!” He knew that the easy option was to respond with anger or disrespect, but the best option isn’t always the easiest. When others are unkind to us, our job is to treat them with love.
Challenge: Find one kind thing to do today to someone who is unkind to you. This could be as simple as smiling at them, saying something nice about them, or offering to let them go first. Ask God for the courage that it takes to respond to others with love, no matter how they treat you.

About this Plan
All of us have either been the victim of bullying, seen someone else get bullied, or maybe we were the bully. While the word "bully" isn't found anywhere in the Bible, God does have a lot to say about how we treat others and how to respond when we are mistreated by others.
