Help! I'm Being BulliedSample
God didn’t create us to be unkind to other people. Even though it can be easy to treat others poorly, and even though it hurts when others treat you poorly, we are able to take heart in knowing that's not how it’s supposed to be. Paul described it to us by saying God gave us a spirit of “power, love, and self-discipline” instead of “fear and timidity.” God didn’t create us to be afraid of our situations or to approach others with uncertainty, but he gives us his own spirit and allows us to be full of his power, his love, and his self-discipline. When we are tempted to look at our situations with fear, or when we want to forget about using self-control and treat others unfairly, we can know that God gives us his own spirit and calls us to something much better.
Challenge: Today, use the gift of self-control to refrain from doing something unkind to others. When you are tempted to post something unkind, comment or say something mean to someone, or hurt somebody else (physically or emotionally) choose instead to use the self-control that God has given us.

About this Plan
All of us have either been the victim of bullying, seen someone else get bullied, or maybe we were the bully. While the word "bully" isn't found anywhere in the Bible, God does have a lot to say about how we treat others and how to respond when we are mistreated by others.
