Bible Explorer for the Young (Jeremiah - Part 2)

DAY 6 OF 14

You Gotta Have Faith

Jeremiah 32:17

Lord God, with Your great power You made the earth and the sky. There is nothing too hard for You to do.

You had tried to solve a math problem for almost 30 minutes but couldn't get it right. You had practised for almost 48 times on the uneven bars in your gymnastic class but you were still far from good. It made you want to quit. The word “give up” kept replaying in your head.

When Jerusalem was under attack and filled with disease, Jeremiah was inside the prison. At that time, God told him to buy land in Jerusalem. It didn’t seem to make sense but Jeremiah trusted God and bought the land without delay. His action represented his faith and confidence in God’s power to restore Jerusalem. Jeremiah said that nothing is too difficult for God.

Just like Jeremiah, you gotta have faith while facing your difficulties. The same God whom Jeremiah trusted is the same God who will help you with math, gymnastic, or other things you have to face. Our steps of faith might look different from Jeremiah’s, but our willingness to obey should be the same.

You gotta have faith in God as nothing is too difficult for Him!

Prayer

Dear God, thank You for Your word that says that no matter how big my problems might seem, it is not too big for You to handle. I gotta keep my Faith in You. amen.
