Bible Explorer for the Young (Jeremiah - Part 2)

DAY 7 OF 14

Great and Mighty Things Through Prayer

Jeremiah 33:3

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.

Abraham's prayer delivered Lot and his family from being destroyed in Sodom.

Joshua's prayer caused the sun and moon to stand still.

The barren Hannah’s prayer brought her a son who became one of Israel's greatest prophets, Samuel.

There are great and mighty things in prayer. God invited Jeremiah to call upon God when he had problems. This invitation is also applicable to us. To call upon God, we do not need a laptop, whatsapp, skype, or cellphone. We do not need a sim card or security password either. All we need is a heart that is willing to pray.

Praying is our communication line with God. It is practically the easiest of all. We can pray anywhere we want to and at any time that we want to. There is power, hope, joy, mighty and great things in prayer.

Keep praying and calling upon God till the great and mighty things take place in your life!

Prayer

Dear God, thank You that when I call on You and come to pray to You, You listen to me. When I seek You, I will find You. You are a great and mighty God. Amen.
