Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith Sample

What do we feel when we pray? Do we realize how powerful our prayers are to effect change? Just picture this scene for a moment. The King of kings is seated on His throne and our prayers, every short thought, every desperate breath, every time we’ve cried, “Lord, help me", all those prayers are rising up before Him. Sometimes we stop there, thinking that ok, God has heard our prayer and that’s it. But we forget the rest of the description in the verse. The prayers and the smoke of the incense from the censer mingle together and rise up before God and then, the angel throws the censer filled with fire on the earth resulting in extraordinary occurrences. May we never forget that our prayers have the power to effect change that will transform our world. Our prayers are not merely smoke that will drift away from God’s presence, but rather, they urge Him to act on our behalf, to reveal His glory and inspire awe. Our prayers will transform both humanity and society. So let us stay the course
