A Prayer for Security in God's Love

My Beautiful Child,

You are so dearly loved. Always remember that! Your existence is such a precious gift to me and to the world. It's my personal reminder that the heart of God is deeper and wider and fuller and higher than I could ever know. You are my miracle and my greatest accomplishment!

Nothing could ever change my deep and passionate love for you. Oh, but honey, not everyone will love you. there will be mean girls and selfish little boys who will not value your heart. You will shed your share of tears due to unkindness and cruel words or actions from others. It breaks my heart to think of it. 

I wish I could be with you always - go with you through every phase and experience to protect you from the injustice of this world. If I could, I would, but I can't. So my prayer for you today and always is that you will be just as secure in your lonely days as you will be in your social triumphs. 

My prayer is that the confidence of Christ will lead you in understanding that no matter what you face, you are completely, perfectly and dearly loved. You have purpose and promise and I pray the Lord will lead me into being the parent that your heart needs so that I may instill truth within your heart; truth that will combat any lie that may try to distract you or confuse you.

Your gifts, your talents and your future have been carefully shaped by the Lord and I wait in high expectation to see Him unfold all of His plans for you!

Remember, no matter who you become, where you go or what you do, the unfailing love of Jesus is available to you! I love you and I am always covering your life and your heart in the highest of prayers! But realize that there is someone else who prays for you, too. It's Jesus! He is always interceding on our behalf. He is constantly praying for you and His prayers move Heaven and earth and they move the heart of God.

Love is something that the world is desperate for, but it's a free gift of God. You don't need to change yourself to gain it. You don't need to waste your time or alter your character to secure it. Christ made God's unconditional love available to you and for you at His resurrection. So grasp a tight hold onto it, my darling. It's the most beautiful, the most powerful and the most miraculous treasure there is. It's yours, with abundance and assurance given by God, Himself, through Jesus Christ. He loves you and so do I.
