A Prayer to Draw Near to Jesus

Today, my heart is so full, Sweet One!

My prayer for you, and one of my highest hopes, is that you will allow the joy of the Lord to be your strength. 

Be brave! Be strong! Be courageous!

There is much to fear in this world, but God promises to go before you! His banner over you is love. He celebrates you with singing and rejoicing because He is for you and never, ever against you. He has plans to give you a hope and future - to prosper you and give you good things. He desires a relationship with you where you draw near to Him, daily, living your life with a resolve to please and honor Him in obedience and devotion. If you keep Him first, He will bless you.

Our culture promises so many riches and treasures, but my prayer is that you will treasure the heart of God more than any other thing that will one day pass away. Money will be spent. Fame is not guaranteed. Happiness is circumstantial and romance doesn't last forever. But the Word of the Lord stands firm and true! It is eternal and will not change and will be a guiding light to your life and strength for your soul, if you only just draw near.

So, I cover you in the highest of prayer: that you will never live out of fear, anger, excuses or selfishness. Do not conform to this world, but let the love of Christ dwell in you richly and lead you in all matters of spiritual strength, purpose and blessings. 

Know that you are perfectly and dearly loved by Jesus and that He only has the best for you! Give your heart to Him and trust Him with all that you do and all that you go through. His love will give you strength and joy with each new day! Enjoy those new mercies, honey, and I will be right here to celebrate you every step of the way!
