Restlessness
Lord, please help me notice when I have become conformed to the values of the society in which I live.
The Egypt of Exodus 5 gives us a picture of restlessness – a society based on ever-increasing production schedules, endless consumption (the slaves were building storage capacity), and cheap labour.
