The Goodness of God

Psalm 31:19a

How abundant are the good things that You have stored up for those who fear You...

Have you been storing many coins in your piggy bank? To get it full, you will have to be faithfully and patiently adding and saving more and more coins. When it is full, you will be very excited to find out how much money you have stored and what you can purchase with your money! 

Just like you storing coins in the piggy bank, God also has stored many blessings, favor, and grace for your life and for your future!

When you keep faithfully honoring God, at the right time you’ll come into a stored-up blessing. When you patiently wait for God, His blessings will come and find you without you trying to find them.

God’s goodness is stored up for you. It’s held in place for your future. God never runs out of favor. He has unlimited resources. God will command His goodness to follow you.

Even when you have a bad day, God continually pours out His goodness upon you. His goodness is not dependent on you, but it’s dependent on who He is. 

Prayer

Dear God, thank You for Your goodness that has been stored for my future. You are good and gracious, and I love and trust You. Amen.
