Christmas Begins with ChristSample
Isaiah dramatically predicts the end of wars. Today as we read the updates and news of current and new conflicts and unrest around the globe this promise may seem a far-off dream. But as Isaiah boldly proclaims there will be a time when the uniforms will no longer be needed, shalom peace is a real and present hope.
Let us remember in prayer and speak Isaiah's words of hope over countries wracked by conflict and unrest, or facing the aftermath of disasters and political and social turmoil.
Sadly conflict and suffering is never far from our news screens and national newspapers. Today pray for the Prince of Peace to bring reconciliation and to restore the lives of those who are in midst of insecurity and violence.
