30 Day Challenge: A Walk Through ProverbsSample
Day Seventeen
Read Proverbs 17
Who is someone in your life who has been there for you through the good and the bad? God gives us people in our lives because He knows we can’t go through life alone! Not only does God provide these kinds of people in our lives, but we are also called to be this kind of friend to others.
Reflect
What does verse 17 say?
What are our brothers and sisters in faith for according to this verse?
Engage
Who are some of the people in your life who have always been there for you?
Who are the people in your life that rely on you?
An Extra Mile
Write a letter to one of those friends and tell them how you appreciate them. If you can’t think of someone, pray that God would bring someone into your life who will love you always and be with you through the hard times. Also pray that He would make you a person who loves at all times.

About this Plan
Oftentimes life looks like an open road and we aren’t sure which way it will turn. Other times, we feel like we are in control of where we are heading—no need to stop for directions. As believers, we must make sure that our GPS is programmed to the Word. God is our ultimate guide through the journey; He is the Creator of the road itself.
