40 Days of FaithSample
Today’s Reading: Hebrews 4:12–16
Faith Confession
The Word of God is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, discerning the thoughts and intentions of my heart. I am not hidden from your sight, but I am exposed to the eyes of him to whom I must give account. Since I have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens—Jesus, the Son of God—I will hold fast to my confession. I have a high priest who is able to sympathize with my weakness, who in every respect has been tempted as I am, yet was without sin. I will draw near to the throne of grace with confidence that I may receive mercy and find grace in time of need.
