 Week Four - Day Seven - Born for Such a Time as This

Welcome to our ‘Born For This’ devotional. We are so excited to dig into what this means over the next few weeks, as we look at different people in the Bible who followed the plan God had for them. God has an amazing plan for you, too! He made you to be his special son or daughter, and He’s put so much precious gold inside of you to help you with His plan! We can thrive because we are born for this!

‘The Brave Queen’ in the Beginners Bible (pages 240-246) or in Esther 1-10.

Esther had told the King all about Haman’s plans to get rid of the Israelites. When the King learnt that he had been tricked into passing this new law he was upset. 

The King had his guards arrest Haman and then he made a new law to keep Esther and God’s people safe. She had a very special purpose as Queen! God used Esther to save His people! 

Esther was brave, she spoke up and changed things around her. God can use you too, right where you are!

ASK:

Can you think of a time you were brave?

Did it influence the people around you?

REMEMBER:

I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.

What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well. (Psalm 139:14)

SAY:

I Can Thrive

With you in my life.

All you create,

Is wonderful and great. 

I will recall all you have done, 

The battles that have been won. 

I am fearless in my quest,

For I am Born for This.
