There's Hope For TodaySample
These five words have saved my life! To know that God is wholly committed to the building of His church rescues and revives me. I’ve witnessed levels of commitment in churches that runs so low that it is amazing the doors are kept open. I’ve struggled with my level of passion and commitment to the church. At times I’ve felt so weary I thought about turning in my hard hat and finding another line of work.
But no matter what level of commitment I see or feel, God is committed to the building of His church. Building is always costly. Church visions are a dime a dozen. Fifty good books point out fifty good ways to get the job done, but no plan comes cheap. Building is costly! It eats up commitment. It devours human capital. It wearies our spiritual muscles. It challenges our limitations. If it weren’t for the renewal God promises (Isaiah 40:31), we would give out in no time!
God is totally committed to seeing this project to completion. Have you ever envisioned God in a hard hat studying a thick set of blueprints? It’s not far off the mark! The prints are perfect. The Builder is “out of this world!” The possibilities are mind-boggling. Put your faith in the Master Builder.
