Psalms in 30 DaysSample
Morning Prayer:
Call to Prayer (read Malachi 1:11)
Confession of Faith
I believe that the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic church is God’s new society, the first fruit of the new creation, the whole company of the redeemed through the ages, of which Christ is Lord and head. The truth that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, is the church’s firm foundation. The local church is both embassy and parable of the kingdom of heaven, an earthly place where his will is done and he is now present, existing visibly everywhere two or three gather in his name to proclaim and spread the gospel in word and works of love, and by obeying the Lord’s command to baptize disciples and celebrate the Lord’s Supper.

Merciful Lord, pardon all the sins of my life, of omission and commission, of lips, life and walk, of hard-heartedness, unbelief, pride, of bringing dishonor on your great name, of impurity in thought, word and deed, of covetousness, which is idolatry. Pardon all my sins, known and unknown, felt and unfelt, confessed and unconfessed, remembered or forgotten. Good Lord, hear; and hearing, forgive!

Prayer of the Church
O Lord my God, instruct my ignorance and enlighten my darkness. You are my King, take possession of all my powers and abilities and let me be no longer under the dominion of sin. Give me a sincere and heartfelt repentance for all my offenses and strengthen by your grace my resolution to amend my ways. Grant me also the spirit of prayer and supplication according to your own most gracious promises.

About this Plan
This plan relies on a pattern of prayer Trevin Wax developed in 2019. Here you will find all the Psalms arranged in three-times-a-day readings for thirty days. This will include a time in the morning, midday, and evening. Every prayer time begins with a call to prayer and includes the Gloria, the Lord’s Prayer, and closes with a biblical blessing.
