Fear Busters (Week 2)Sample
Day 7 - God keeps His promises!
READ:
“The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to Him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2 ICB).
This week we have learnt that:
- God is my protector
- God is my rock
- God is my safety
- God is my shield
- God is my strength
- God is my saviour.
What awesome promises! You can take some time to write these down today and whenever you feel scared, alone or afraid remember that God promises that He is always with you!
Noah trusted God and believed that God was good, even when things looked a bit uncertain or scary. Noah trusted that God would look after him and his family because He knew that God would keep His promises. So we know that all the promises of God that we’ve learnt about this week are true - they are true today, and they will be true forever!
ASK:
Spend some time writing down any other promises of God today that you can think of.
Get creative - we would love to see what you make, so ask your grown up to upload pictures of your creations and tag us on our Instagram and facebook pages @freedomkidsglobal!
REMEMBER:
“The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to Him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2 ICB).
FEARBUSTER PRAYER:
You are bigger than my fears, You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, You teach me what to say. I am brave because of You! This sickness just won’t do. We tell it now to quit, we've had enough of it!

About this Plan
Welcome to Fear Busters! In this devotional series, we'll be looking at how to overcome fear through Jesus. When we’re surrounded by illness and uncertainty Jesus tells us to keep our eyes fixed on Him! This week we’re learning that God is our protector, reading about Noah and through our memory verse in Psalm 18:2!
