Fear Busters (Week 2)Sample
Day 3 - God is my safety
READ:
“The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to Him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2 ICB).
Yesterday we learnt that God is our rock, unchanging and that we can trust Him.
Today we are learning that God is our safety! We hope you are enjoying learning more about the awesome promises of God!
When you think of ‘safety’ what do you think of?
Maybe it’s wearing your cycle helmet when you ride your bike or put on your seatbelt in the car. These things keep us safe and help prevent us from getting hurt. God does the same!
We are safe with God. We can trust Him and depend on Him. He will always be with us and help us. We can always run to God when we feel unsure, afraid or upset because He will always listen to us. We are safe with God.
In the Beginner's Bible (Page 26-33) or in Genesis 4:32-9:17 you can read all about how God kept Noah and his family safe.
God told Noah to build an ark which protected him and his family. The ark was a safe place for him and his family during the flood. God loved and cared so much for Noah and his family! Did you know that He loves and cares for you too?
ASK:
Where can you see that God keeps you and your family safe?
REMEMBER:
“The Lord is my rock, my protection, my Saviour. My God is my rock. I can run to Him for safety. He is my shield and my saving strength, my high tower.” (Psalm 18:2 ICB).

FEARBUSTER PRAYER:
You are bigger than my fears, You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, You teach me what to say. I am brave because of You! This sickness just won’t do. We tell it now to quit, we've had enough of it!

About this Plan
Welcome to Fear Busters! In this devotional series, we'll be looking at how to overcome fear through Jesus. When we’re surrounded by illness and uncertainty Jesus tells us to keep our eyes fixed on Him! This week we’re learning that God is our protector, reading about Noah and through our memory verse in Psalm 18:2!
