Lent: Remembering the Life of JesusSample

Jesus Urges Disciples to Pray for Workers
Bible Reading: Matthew 9:35-38
Further Study
- What two things did Jesus do as He was teaching in synagogues?
- How did Jesus feel when he saw the crowds gathered around Him?
- Who do you think Jesus was referring to when he said “workers”?
Reflect
- Worship: Write down one attribute of God and worship Him for who He is.
- Prayer: Pray for your extended family members.
- Remembrance: At some point in your life, someone told you about Jesus. Think about that time in your life. What feelings surface for you?
- Self-Examination: Are you a “worker” for God? Ask God to place opportunities in front of you to impact someone for Christ.
A Kind Act
- Tell the person closest to you how much they mean to you.

About this Plan

The season of Lent is a period leading up to Easter Sunday. It’s a time of reflection on Christ’s life, from His birth to His death. There’s a daily reflection piece for each of the 47 days of this Plan. We encourage you to get a small journal to write your thoughts down. Begin this Plan on Ash Wednesday, and your final day will be on Easter Sunday.
