Walking With Him Daily Acts Bible Plan

DAY 2 OF 28

Day 2

Read – Acts 2

Acts 2:45 - 47 "Selling their possessions and property, they gave to anyone that had a need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple complex, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with a joyful and humble attitude, praising God and having favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved."

Can you imagine? Can you imagine what is like to every day be devoted to meeting together and gathering and breaking bread? Can you imagine, what today's church would look like if everyone was devoted to the Lord daily and devoted to meeting together, encouraging each other and learning with each other? The sense of community it would create and the investment in each other’s lives would rock the way that the modern-day westernized church is. And if we look at how God designed us, for an on-going, every day relationship with Him, it would stand to reason that He would want His church to look similar, with an on-going, every day relationship with other believers to encourage and sharpen us. So, how much do you invest in the people of the church? Do you invest in them so that they can invest in you? Are you being challenged by other believers to be stronger in your faith on a daily basis? If not, consider how the 1st century Christians invested in each other and consider how you might do the same.
