Upsidedown Kingdom - Lessons from the Sermon on the MountSample
Recognizing our citizenship in God’s abundant kingdom is having the freedom to trust that God indeed holds our future. When we take a rest from the striving and from putting our hope in earthly wealth, we can truly experience the peace that is unlike anything we can find in the upside-down kingdom of the world.
As you read the following scripture, take a few moments to meditate on the word of God, then respond to the following questions:
- What has God revealed to you about His kingdom?
- What has God revealed to you about the King?
- What has God revealed to you about being a citizen of the new kingdom?
- Now, ask the Holy Spirit to provide you opportunities to live into God's kingdom today!

About this Plan
In the world that we live in, things are not as they should be. One might even say they are upside down. However, the good news is that Jesus came to turn this world right side up. What if our eyes were opened to the REALITY that the kingdom of heaven is in fact here?
