Upsidedown Kingdom - Lessons from the Sermon on the MountSample
This might be the strongest, most direct warning against judging others. James doesn't mince words, probably because of the damage he had seen done amongst the Jewish believers who hadn't quite learned how to tame their tongues. James encourages us to worry about ourselves, and leave the rest to God.
As you read the following scripture, take a few moments to meditate on the word of God, then respond to the following questions:
- What has God revealed to you about His kingdom?
- What has God revealed to you about the King?
- What has God revealed to you about being a citizen of the new kingdom?
- Now, ask the Holy Spirit to provide you opportunities to live into God's kingdom today!
