Daily Prayer: Lord, guide me by your Spirit.
Daily Practice: The patterns of this world shape us, whether we actively recognize it or not. Make a list of your daily habits (read the news, watch Netflix, eat healthy foods, numb out on Facebook, shop, exercise, read my Bible, talk with a family member, etc.) Which of your habits bring you life? Circle them. Which habits drain you or lead you into doing the things you don’t want to do? Take some time to reflect on how the culture you live in is shaping your habits (and thus, who you are becoming). Ask the Lord to reveal an unhealthy habit and invite the Spirit to help you turn from it.
