Everyone. Everywhere. Part 1Sample
The Lord’s Prayer: Oftentimes, we do not know what to say to God. We might not really be sure what the “best” prayer is or how to even begin. When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, thankfully, He laid it out very simply. When we read through the Lord’s prayer, we can see that Jesus teaches us very practical ways to approach the Father through prayer. Jesus models that we are to worship and praise God for all He has done and acknowledge that He is in control. We are to ask God for the things we need, confess sin, and request protection and guidance.
- Questions:
- Do you pray persistently, specifically, and expectantly?
- If you had to describe your prayer life in one word, how would you describe it?
- Applications:
- Take some time to memorize and pray the Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.
- Looking at question one, which area can you grow in? What steps can you take to grow in that area?
