DAY 5 OF 10

The Well Part II - Living Water Flow Through Me

Like a spring from the earth that is a never-ending supply of fresh water, Jesus relates the Holy Spirit to a never-ending supply of living water from God himself. ‘Rivers of living water flow from his heart’ (John 7: 38).

This living water is not something we can pay for, earn, collect or make. It is a gift given only through Jesus. Jesus can’t physically be with us. In fact, He said it is better that He go so that He can send someone greater -The Holy Spirit. When we invite Jesus into our lives we also need to accept the gift of the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, each of you, and be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit (living water) opens our eyes and hearts so we see things in a completely new way. He sees things we cannot, and He brings truth and clarity. He is our guide and helper.

When we turn our eyes to Jesus as our provider and ask The Holy Spirit into our lives, He doesn’t just fill us. He flows through us so everything we touch will be affected.

When I wake every morning, I want to be aware of the Holy Spirit. My first prayer, “Good morning Holy Spirit. Help me today in everything I do, to keep my ears and eyes open to your voice at all times.”

I want to encourage you, allow the Holy Spirit into every area of your life.

“All I am will worship all You are. You gave me a new heart - living water flow through me” - ‘The Well’ by Calvary Worship

PRAY! Prayer is direct communication with God!

LISTEN! Listen to that still small voice and become attuned to it.

ACT! Start to take small steps of faith. The Holy Spirit may prompt you to say ‘hi’ to a stranger, or to pay for some one’s meal. He may put someone on your heart to reach out to and encourage.

It’s when we step out and trust in the small, we learn so that when the opportunity comes, we will have the courage to take the leap out in the big.

God just wants such a close relationship with you. This happens through the Holy Spirit.

Follow Him into the unknown. Step out in faith, into a deeper relationship with Him and you will see all God has for you.

About this Plan

'Coronation (Come and See)' Devotional

On Good Friday, the executioners tormented Jesus with a crown of thorns, a robe and a staff, feigning worship in a mock ceremony. In the upside-down Kingdom, what was intended to cut Jesus down, merely reflected what was really taking place: Christ’s Coronation Ceremony as the King of Kings. Come and explore the scriptures and heartbeat of CalvaryWorship.Global’s new album, ‘Coronation (Come & See)’ in this 10-day devotional.
