Remnant: Learning From The Passionate ApostleSample

Remnant: Learning From The Passionate Apostle

DAY 3 OF 10

Peter’s brother may have been the first to tell Peter about Jesus, but it was Jesus Himself who convinced Peter of His identity. If you have put your faith in Jesus for salvation, you may have heard about Him from someone else, but it was the Holy Spirit who convinced you of Jesus’ identity and your need for a savior. It was He who gave you the faith to believe.

Of course, anyone who has played a role in your spiritual journey deserves your eternal gratitude, but be careful never to give them credit that belongs to God. Likewise, don’t take credit for anything God does in the lives of others through you. We’re all just blessed to be included in God’s plan and have front row seats to the miracle of salvation.

Thank God for those who played a part in your faith story and ask God to use you in someone else’s.

About this Plan

Remnant: Learning From The Passionate Apostle

To say the apostle Peter was passionate about following Jesus Christ and advancing the Gospel would be an understatement. The man tried to walk on water to get to Jesus, cut a guy’s ear off for trying to arrest Jesus, and allowed himself to be crucified upside down for his faith, but Peter’s journey didn’t happen overnight. Don’t be intimidated by Peter’s headlines. Read his backstory and be encouraged.
