Echo: Impacting Future GenerationsSample

Echo: Impacting Future Generations

DAY 5 OF 5

God will be glorified no matter what. It’s going to happen. When you play a part in it, the blessing is yours.

Paul and the other apostles understood the importance of encouraging their brothers and sisters both in good times and in bad so they would continue to glorify God in their words, actions, and attitudes. Had they not made a point of visiting the churches they planted, God would still have worked in and through those churches, but they would have missed out on the blessing of participating with their spiritual family in God’s glorification. As it was, Paul and the apostles had the privilege of adding their voices to the growing chorus of praise being offered to God and becoming a significant part of the global church’s history.

As you read today’s passage, consider whether you demonstrate the same concern for your brothers and sisters that the apostles demonstrated. How far will your love for them and the God you collectively serve echo?

About this Plan

Echo: Impacting Future Generations

Those of us who have put our faith in Jesus for salvation were rescued from the consequences of sin for a reason, to focus the attention of others on God’s divine perfection. In this study, you’ll discover what it takes to glorify God so effectively the reverb will be felt by future generations.
