If you’re on any form of social media, it’s plain to see: There are a lot of people we can follow who can influence our faith—for better or for worse. Even though the world looked different when Paul wrote this letter years ago, his point was clear: As followers of Jesus, we have to be careful not to just follow the crowd—especially when the crowd is headed in the wrong direction. Instead, we are to follow God’s way, trusting that it is the path that will lead to what’s best for our lives. This week, spend some time reading your Bible. As you do, ask God to open your eyes to the way the world and the people in it are impacting your faith. Then, ask Him to continue to point you in the right direction toward people and influences who will grow your faith.
