Serving others often requires a sacrifice of some kind. It may be giving up part of your allowance or babysitting money to a friend going on a mission trip, or using your time to mow your neighbor’s lawn or help a sibling with homework. No matter what, serving others can cost us something. But God tells us that serving should be less about how much you have to give or sacrifice and instead, about your attitude while you do it. When we serve with the right attitude, the sacrifice doesn’t seem so big. How can you watch your attitude this week so that when you serve others, you do it with a cheerful and eager heart?
