Streaks: PrayerSample
“Our Father” – If you’ve ever heard The Lord’s Prayer before, then you’ve certainly heard that phrase in reference to God…but perhaps you never gave it much thought. These first two words of the prayer Jesus used to teach His disciples how they should pray are foundational to understanding the relationship between us and God in prayer. When we come to God, we are coming to our loving Father. And like any good dad, God LOVES to hear from His children. He wants us to tell Him about our days, to admit things that have us worried, to ask for help…Dads love that stuff! So, whenever you pray, remember that the Person on the other end of that conversation is your loving Father who is so excited to hear what you have to say!
Read today’s Scripture, and then pray for at least two minutes.
