21 Days After CampSample
Until all Know
I know what you are thinking at this moment. I want to go back. Why can’t camp be longer? If only camp happened every month I would be able to stay strong. What you are feeling is a burden for something more. Something you desire. Something you long for.
God is also burdened. His burden is deep. He desires that all would have an opportunity to feel what you felt at camp. To experience the Holy Spirit hovering over them, to spend countless hours worshipping the King because there is no place else you would rather be.
Unfortunately, there are millions of people from all over our globe that have never felt, sensed, or seen the goodness that you witnessed at camp. They have never heard that Jesus came. That He died. That He rose again and now patiently waits for them. What will it take for you and I to be burdened for those who have never heard?
We have an opportunity to spread the gospel to those who have never heard through our sacrificial giving to Speed the Light. After Missionary to China, Lottie Moon, passed away in 1912, her friend Cynthia Miller wrote, “it is infinitely touching that those who work the hardest and make the most sacrifices for the Master should suffer because those in the homeland fail to give what is needed”.
Would you begin to pray and ask the Lord to give you a burden for those who do not know him? Through Speed the Light, 3.1 billion people may have an opportunity to hear that Jesus died for them. Allow your burden the opportunity to grow into a missional call to impact your campus and community. May God bless you as you open your heart to spreading the gospel.
