Expecting the One With Many NamesExemplo

Expecting the One With Many Names

Dia 18 de 27

BECAUSE OF JESUS, WE CAN CLAIM OUR REDEMPTION!

Jesus has redeemed us through His Blood, willingly giving up His life so that we may live eternally. Jesus is our ‘Redeemer,’ our all in all!

“Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy ‘redeemer,’ the Holy One” Isaiah 41:14

Sometimes, we don’t know what to do or where to turn. Jesus invites us to come to Him, for He is a ‘Refuge’ and wants to shelter and care for us. He is an example of a loving Father hovering over his child.

“For thou has been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a ‘refuge’ from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.” Isaiah 25:4

No one can claim this name of ‘Resurrection,’ for He is the only one who ever suffered, died, and rose again from the dead for the cause of our sins.

“Jesus said unto her, I am the ‘resurrection,’ and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” John 11:25

LET US PAUSE:

Today I want us to think of the many ways Jesus has been your refuge. What has happened in life that caused you to bend your knee or bow in prayer? After you contemplate why you have needed His help, take time to praise Him for being your refuge in life’s storms.
