Paul, why do you persecute me?

We could compare Paul's call to an overwhelming, shocking event that was completely outside of any human logic.

He was convinced that his enemy was Jesus. He wasted no time in his actions, but actively sought out the Master's followers in an attempt to stop the spread of this "dangerous" sect. What he didn't know was that the Jesus he hated was watching him and was preparing the meeting that would change his life forever.

In one of his missions against the Christians, a bright light illuminates him, blinding him. Between Jerusalem and Damascus, Jesus appears to him to interrupt his wrong journey and to show him the right path.

Like Saul, we too were walking down the wrong path, we too were enlightened by the light of Christ, we too were confused, "blinded" by something we didn't know, but the real turning point occurs when we hear the call "I am Jesus", follow me. What was your response to this call? Have you decided to remain only enlightened or have you made the decision to follow the path indicated by Jesus?

A choice of this magnitude is crucial, you too have been called to change your path, to transform your ideas and your beliefs, like Paul you too have been called to change the world around you.
