The Call to Grace

When we hear our name pronounced, something special happens inside us. Whoever pronounces your name has expectations, hopes that you can pay attention.

When you are called by your children or your spouse, by your employer, give your attention, but if an unknown voice calls you, you would never think that it is addressing you, perhaps someone who has the same name as you.

A similar thing happens when God calls us, we are distracted because of sin, we do not recognize the voice that pronounces our name, but God does not give up, He insists and insists until He captures our attention.

This call is the most important of our life, the devil knows that if we respond to the voice of God, he will receive a resounding defeat, for this reason he will always try to confuse the voice of God with other voices.

History tells us that the first Adam preferred the voice of the serpent to that of God. It also teaches us that God moved to silence the voice of the serpent in favor of that of the Son Jesus.

Jesus does something extremely revolutionary, he calls us to grace, that is, to salvation, in other words he calls us to be children of God. When we identify ourselves with Jesus Christ, we are no longer just called to existence and life, but we are called by name to be children of God.
