This would look good on any resume. If there were ever a person who should have experienced a little pride in himself, it would be King David. Still, David recognizes with genuine humility, “You are God and I am not. Everything I have accomplished, every good gift has your signature on it. How great YOU are.”

When was the last time you thanked God for all the great things He has done in your life? When did you last acknowledge Him as the One who is greater than any of your accomplishments and in fact the One who has gifted you for such?

Sovereign God, I thank you for every good and perfect gift in my life. I praise you that you would look at me and allow me a part in your Kingdom. I pray that every gift, every talent within me will be offered to you so that your great name will be known and your servant blessed forever. In the name of God Almighty, Amen and Amen. So BE it.
