Sermon on the Mount: The BeatitudesSample

Sermon on the Mount: The Beatitudes

दिन 27 को 30

Day 27:

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. - Matthew 5:11-12

Trusting God’s justice in persecution

We naturally desire vindication when we experience injustice or suffering because of our faith. However, Romans 12:19 reminds us, “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Trusting God’s justice means releasing our desire for revenge and believing that He will bring justice in His perfect timing.

God is a righteous judge and sees every wrong done to His children. We can rest assured that He will defend us and make everything right. In the meantime, we should focus on loving our enemies, praying for those who persecute us, and leaving the outcome in God’s hands. This trust brings peace, knowing we don’t have to fight our battles alone.

As we face opposition, let us surrender our pain to God and trust His just and faithful character. He will work all things for our good and His glory, and we can find comfort in His unfailing promises.

Prayer focus:

Trusting God to defend and bring justice in times of suffering.
