Sermon on the Mount: The BeatitudesSample

Sermon on the Mount: The Beatitudes

दिन 12 को 30

Day 12:

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. - Matthew 5:6

Finding satisfaction in God

The promise of satisfaction comes from God’s ability to fill and fulfill us in ways nothing else can. Psalm 107:9 reminds us, “For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.” We discover profound contentment when we pursue God’s righteousness, knowing He meets every spiritual need and desire.

True satisfaction isn’t found in material success, human approval, or temporary pleasures. It comes from experiencing God’s presence, walking in His ways, and knowing he deeply loves us. As we live in alignment with His purposes, we find peace and joy that the world cannot offer. God’s righteousness fills us with a sense of purpose and belonging that anchors us through life’s uncertainties.

Living righteously doesn’t mean life will be free from struggles, but it does mean that we are rooted in God’s unfailing love. The more we experience His grace and faithfulness, the more we realize He is all we need. Our hearts become satisfied, not because of our circumstances, but because we are in communion with the One who gives true life.

Prayer focus:

Experiencing the fullness and satisfaction that comes from living righteously.
