Prayers of the Bible

दिन 12 को 32

When was the last time you let God’s greatness leave you speechless?

Today’s reading comes from the book of Job, a book about suffering.

For many chapters Job questions God, wrestling with his suffering, and searching for answers. But when God finally responds, Job doesn’t get an explanation—he gets a revelation. Standing before the majesty of God, Job’s response is simple: humility. “I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you” (v. 5).

Have you ever tried to solve a puzzle only to realize you were looking at it all wrong? That’s Job. In the presence of the Creator, his perspective shifts. Job doesn’t need all the answers because he sees God more clearly—and that’s enough. Jesus invites us into this same posture. Think of the disciples in the storm: terrified, questioning, until Jesus calmed the waves. Their awe of Him silenced their doubts.

Prayer is where this transformation begins. It’s not about coming to God with perfect words but bringing your questions, fears, and struggles into His presence. And sometimes, just like Job, we leave not with answers but with a deeper trust in the One who holds them.

Today, ponder this: How can embracing God’s greatness reshape the way you pray about your struggles and uncertainties?
