Cast Your Cares on Him

Some people may tell you that God does not care about you or what you are going through. Some may say He is harsh and just wants us to deal with it. That is all a lie. Jesus loves you so much that He wants us to come to Him with all of our worries, cares and concerns so that He can take care of them. This is called building trust and a relationship with the Master. In order for you to come to Jesus with your cares, you have to trust that He even cares about you and will listen to you.

I want to assure you that God tells us to not only come to Him, but the word “cast” in some translations means to throw your cares of Him. He can handle it. He defeated the enemy, sin, hell and the grave. He mastered sin and defeated it. It should give us peace to know that we can come to Him with our worries because He cares for us. Him caring for us, is such a Fatherly thing to do. We are His children. He cares about every detail of our lives, and sees all that happens every waking moment.

Don’t believe that you are annoying Him, or bothering Him when you come to Him. In fact, He wants you to. That shows Him that you trust Him. The more we come to Jesus with things that bother us, the more we build this trust and relationship with Him. It’s not just about us coming to Him, but receiving all that He has to offer us in this moment as well. Jesus is all peace, rest, joy, love, mercy and so much more. Whatever we are in need of in this very moment, Jesus offers that to us. I was to encourage you today to receive this by faith, as you come to Him, and give your worries to Him. He has an amazing way of turning it around for your good.

Prayer for Today:

“Jesus, I am thankful that You care about me. I come to You knowing that whatever is going on in my life, You have the ability to turn it around for my good. I praise You for who You are and give You all of the glory in advance. By faith, I receive joy, peace, strength and wisdom from You. I thank You that I am not standing from a place of defeat, but that I am standing from a place of victory because of You. I love You Lord. In pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen”
