What if you could see God this week?

Okay, this is a pretty big statement. Maybe that seems impossible . . . you know since God is invisible. We get that, but hang in there, because this week might surprise you!

We think this week at BigStuf is an incredible opportunity because sometimes . . .

• being somewhere different helps you see God differently.
• being with different people helps you see others differently.
• and doing different things helps you see yourself differently.

In other words, just being here this week may change how you see . . . well . . . everything.

That’s why we hope this week can be . . .

• a pause from your normal routine.
• a moment to rest from the pressures of where you live.
• a place to connect with God and other people.
• a chance to discover something new about yourself.

A week to kick back and be at home with the God who made you loves you, and has more in store for you than you can imagine. And we hope this week you give yourself a chance to be surprised and see things differently.

Because . . . if you decide to look for God at work this week, you will find Him.

So, whether you’re packing to leave or on the way to BigStuf, take a few minutes right now to pause and think about your response to this question:

What do you want this week to be like?

And then, take a few minutes and think about your response to this question:

What are some things God might want to do in your life this week?

Now, take the last few minutes of your Quiet Time today and pray these words, or something similar in your own words, over the week ahead:

God, I look forward to seeing You at work this week. While I’m at BigStuf, please help me to be open to what You want to say to me and how You want to work in my life. Give me the courage to show up authentically to my small group. Give me the opportunities to make new friends and build stronger relationships.

As I go through the week, help me be fully present when I see You with me and around me. In Sessions, during Small Groups, while the sun sets, and in the rhythms of the surf—help me to see You more clearly than ever before.

Thank You for the week ahead of me.
