“Let’s Go Camping!”
GOD’S WORD: Light
READ:
“Ada, where’s your flashlight?” asked Manny and zipped shut the tent. “What if you have to go to the bathroom?”
Ada laughed, “Oh, Manny. We’re camping in my backyard! The door is right there.”
“It gets really dark, Ada.” Manny put his flashlight between their sleeping bags. “If you need it, you can use mine.”
ASK: Have you ever gone camping? Did you pack a light? How does light help us in the dark or at nighttime?
SAY: Jesus is the light of the world. He is brighter than everything! Jesus promises to safely guide us, so long as we keep Him before us. “Don’t forget your light!” says Jesus. “I will keep you safe on the way.”
PRAY: Dear Jesus, thank you for keeping me safe with your light. I don’t want to try to go anywhere without you. Shine your light so I know where to walk with you. Amen.
ADA’S CHOICE:
Ada woke up and unzipped the tent. She stepped out into the - “Ouch!”
Manny jumped. “Are you okay?”
“Yes,” Ada rubbed her toe. “I stepped on a rock.”
Manny lay back down, but not for long.
“Manny? Manny?!” called Ada. “I can’t see where I am.”
Manny pointed the flashlight at the door.
“Ah! I’m going the wrong way!” shouted Ada. “You’re right, Manny. I need the light even in my own backyard.”

यस योजनाको बारेमा
The Grasp family reading plan guides family interaction as it helps children aged preschool-elementary to better grasp what God’s words mean for them. Using the acronym GRASP (God’s Word. Read. Ask. Say. Pray), parents will discover the simplicity of teaching God’s Word. Before meals, school, or bed, even a few minutes will prove powerful as families learn with one another through the adventures of Manny and Ada.
