THE PURE WORD OF GOD

Usually when we are about to buy drinks, we will see a stamp on the package of the drink telling that the drink is pure. The word “pure” contains a meaning of not mixed or contaminated by another substance.  

Proverbs 30:5 says that every word of God is pure, meaning that every word of God is not contaminated by other things. The word of God is God’s own desire, feeling, mind and plan. When we read the word of God, we are actually trying to explore God’s mind and heart. That’s why, as we read the word of God, we need to realise that God Himself talks to us.

The word of God is a shield to our life. The shield functions as a protector to whomever is using it. The word of God is also a source of guidance in life. When we understand God’s guidance through His word, our life journey will be guided accordingly. We believe that every guidance from God will bring goodness in our life. Therefore, let us build the habit of reading the word of God daily. Let us understand that every time we read the word of God, God is talking to us and we are led to come into His perfect plan for us.

The word of God is God’s own desire, mind, feelings and plan.
