In the Classroom (universities) 

This one goes out to all of the students, apprentices and trainees (read on even if you’re not one of those people). As students, we can sometimes agree with the notion that there is no way we are able to fully live for God because we’re at bottom of the chain, just starting out in our studies or trade. It’s so easy when we’re young to wonder why anyone would listen to us. 

The trap we can fall into as Young Adults is disqualifying ourselves because we’re young or inexperienced. People in the Bible like David, Esther, Joshua and Timothy (to name a few) challenge this disqualification however, and should inspire us to not neglect where we find ourselves right now, but rather embrace the very season were in. No matter what you do or where you are in life, God has positioned you there for a purpose. It is not an accident. You may not see it right now, but rest assured that God is moulding you and equipping you not just for tomorrow, but for RIGHT NOW. I’m often reminded of one of our legendary Church volunteers Joe Thiang; who while studying an engineering degree, was a youth leader, played in our creative team and led a small group of high schoolers. He never used his age, or the fact that he was just starting out as an excuse not to live for God, but always lived his life (and still does to this day) in a way that shines the love of God to everyone he comes into contact with.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for always guiding us to work hard in absolutely everything that we put our hands and heart into, so that people may see Your goodness and encounter Your love and mercy. Continuously challenge and strengthen us to be bold and confident for You. Amen
