Fear Is Not My Future | 21 Days of Prayer and Fastingഉദാഹരണം
“Fear is Not My Future” is relevant in so many ways and affects so many areas of life. Fear will hold us back and has the potential to steal our dreams, our here and now, and our future.
So how do we conquer fear? Sometimes we have legitimate circumstances that really should cause fear in our lives, right? Are we supposed to ignore the pain, suffering, and challenges that are all around us?
As Christ's followers, we have the blessed Gospel, and we are to surrender all our fears to our protecting and loving Heavenly Father! He loves us more than we can imagine!
In 1st Corinthians 15, we read the clearest presentation of the Gospel.
The good news of salvation through Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection is the key to life. While playing a sport, be it soccer, basketball, baseball, etc. If we get our opponent to “fear" us, then they will always play tight. The fear will cause timidity and hinder their ability to perform.
Satan uses fear to turn our focus from heavenly things to earthly things.
Jesus pushes back on the devil's cruelty and instructs us as His followers to focus on "perfect love."
So how do we practically cling to the Gospel? Our focus verse tells us exactly how. " Now I'm reminding you...."We need to be frequently reminded of the power of the Gospel! That we strengthen our faith and empower and embolden our minds and our actions to effectively represent Christ!
Let us truly proclaim the Gospel in the way that we walk out the Gospel with our feet, passionately love the Gospel with our hearts, and live out the Gospel in all areas of our lives!
Let us focus on the hope, love, and beautiful Gospel as we live a life completely dedicated to Jesus.
